Children : The children available in Ukraine are generally 14 months and up. The children mostly caucasian, gyspy, or tatar and are generally healthy. Special needs chidren are alsoavailable. *please ask about our reduced fees for special needs children* Sibling groups sometimes available.

Requirements : Married couples and single women (over 25) may apply. No restrictions on children already in family. Few other restrictions.

Adoption Process : Families must complete a dossier and obtain INS approval prior to travel. Following submission of paperwork to the adoption center in Kiev, families may soon travel to Ukraine to locate a child or children to adopt. Families wishing to adopt older children may travel immediately upon submitting paperwork.

Travel : One trip of approximately 3-4 weeks. Families will visit the adoption center to request a referral of a child. Once the family located the child/children they wish to adopt, they may appear in court to finalize the adoption. Both parents must travel, though one parent may be able to leave after court.

Timeframe : The process typically takes 6 - 12 months from start to finish.
