Dr. Aronson is a board certified general pediatrician and pediatric infectious diseases specialist with a faculty appointment at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University as Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. She recently participated as a co-principal investigator in a research project investigating Tuberculosis and other infectious diseases in children adopted from abroad through the TB Elimination Division of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the research findings will be published in Pediatrics in the near future.

Dr. Aronson has been working as an international adoption medicine specialist for the past eight years. 300 newly adopted children from abroad are evaluated in her office each year and many of these children are followed long-term as part of her primary care pediatric practice. She has seen about 1400 children adopted from abroad in her office in the last few years.
