Project Africa
One World Adoption Services is excited to announce plans to develop adoption and humanitarian aid programs in Africa, specifically in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The first phase includes a project assesment trip in Summer 2009 which involved meeting with child advocates, orphanages, government officials, and assessing the needs of the children.
UPDATE: Phase One is complete!
To date we have received financial support and received a generous donation of frequent flyer miles. We are still in need of approximately 80,000 frequent flyer miles, so if you are interested in donating miles, please contact us at info@oneworldadoptions.org.
The second phase will involve providing resources to orphanges and foster homes we have identified in Kinshasa to provide children with food, medical care, residential dorms, and education. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for phase two of the project.

Phase three of Project Africa will involve ongoing ministry to the children of Africa through the orphanages, schools, and communities they live in. Long term support issues and drilling a well to make clean drinking water readily available are part of phase three.

OWAS Orphanage in DR Congo
One World Adoption Services was recently blessed with several donations for our orphanage! We want to thank all of those who donated. Thank you for your generosity. The children will be very blessed by it, and we know you will be also!
This year we have been able to:
- add more than a dozen beds to the orphanage, providing for orphans in need!
- provide mosquito nets for beds and windows at the orphanage
- provide a generator so the orphanage has a constant source of power
- hire an English teacher for the children
- provide children’s bibles to more than 50 children
- provide a DVD player and the Story of Jesus on DVD for the children
- open an office and hire staff to process paperwork on children coming into care and adoption paperwork
We open our doors on a daily basis to orphaned children. Often they come hungry and have no place to sleep. Please help us to continue to minister to these children by making a donation. Any amount is appreciated and every little bit counts!
Relief for Haitian Earthquake Victims
We are currently requesting donations to assist an orphanage in Port Au Prince that has been hugely impacted by the earthquake.
Items most needed are: formula for babies, medicines, IV fluids (one child is currently on an IV), charcoal to cook, diesel
Also needed: medical supplies, clothing and shoes (all sizes), diapers, formula, personal care items, childrens vitamins, childrens tylenol/advil, band-aids, and/or financial contributions.

Coffee For A Cause
We are proud to offer Blend of Hope coffee, as an ingoing fundrasier to help older children find adoptive families. Blend of Hope is coffee that is freshly roasted in the Atlanta area and available to buy by the bag or by subscription.
The cost is $10 per bag, and $5 goes towards this fundraiser.

Haiti Christmas Project
One of the greatest gifts you can give yourself is the gift of GIVING TO OTHERS.
In recent years, we collected and put together gift boxes for approximately 80-90 children for Christmas. The Christmas Gift Boxes included items such as toys, books, crayons, coloring books, bubbles, stickers – and other items that any child would enjoy. Also collected were items such as vitamins, toothbrushes, toothpaste, children’s tylenol, shampoo, clothing, shoes, band aids, and anti-bacterial ointment. Thank you to all who participated in this project!

Playground Project
In early 2004, One World Adoption Services purchased playground equipment and a new gas stove for an orphanage in Haiti.

We also accept donations into our General Fund which will aid in development in eight foreign country programs and future Humanitarian Aid projects.
