(Rafael & Reinaldo) Rafael is a very nice boy. He is strong, quick, pleasant, sincere and helpful. He wants to be a mechanical engineer!. Reinaldo has muscular dystrophy Type Becker that is progressive, atrophying muscles throughout his body. He is in the early stages of the disease which is noticeable when he climbs stairs or walks any distance. Wouldn't it be great if they could be placed in a loving family? (DOB---- 9/28/92----5/4/95)

(Wellington"Walisson" Willian" Gabriel) Here are four really nice boys. These boys are brothers who have been raised together and want to remain together. Two of the boys has some difficulties in learning but knows how to read and write. He is receiving special tutoring in the mornings and thus does well in afternoon school. (Gilson) He gets along well with other children and is not aggressive. School does not come easy for him. However, he stays with it and progresses, trying hard. There are never any complaints about his behavior. He is a good boy. (DOB----8/9/92)

(Jaqueline) She is a healthy child who is communicative and pleasant. She enjoys riding bikes, playing house, going to church and swimming. She is an extrovert and very much wants to be adopted.(DOB----8/22/93)

(Ivan & Jose) These two brothers have a good relationship with other children and with the orphanage staff. Jose loves to play and give hugs, also likes drawing and has a little difficulty in learning, and concentrationg. Ivan does very well in school. He has strabismus. They have no health concerns. (Diane) She is a sweet, pretty, normal girl. She likes to participate in a group, helpful, calm, cooperative, understanding and obedient, likes to play with others. Recently she said "I miss using the word Mother and I would like someone to call me Daughter". (DOB----10/2/95)

(Jonathan) This boy is full of animation, joyful and spontaneous. He likes to talk and will readily sing you a song. After a few minutes, he acts like he has been your friend forever. He very much wants to have a family of his own. (DOB----6/28/94)

(Jefferson, Jessica and Jack) One sister and two brothers. They attend public school and are doing well. The children are very personable, happy, smiling and lovable. (DOB----12/22/92----3/16/96----5/1/94)

(Robert & Eric) These handsome brothers have no health problems. Robert has a hemangioma (a benign tumor of dilated blood vessels) on his right arm. He is a happy boy, adores sports, intelligent and loving. Eric is studious, well behaved and well mannered. He is tranquil and calm, relating well to others. (DOB----12/8/93----6/25/95)

(Hully) She is very sociable child and adores talking to people and playing with other children. She has no notable health or behavior problems. Her development in all areas is on target for her age. She does well in school and is intelligent. She plays a keyboard and likes to study ballet. (DOB----3/30/93)

(Ana Paual) She is a very nice girl. When she is feeling safe, she interacts easily. She can be timid and does have low self esteem. She is not aggressive, shows frustration by crying. She reacts adequately to imposed limits and does not revel. (DOB----4/29/95)

(Daiane & Daniel) Daiane is a little mother to Daniel. She is also motivated to learn. She is sweet, affectionate and cries easily. She enjoys playing dolls and playing outdoors. Daniel has several delays and will need therapeutic intervention in speech, physical and emotional development. He is happy loving, and very bonded to his sister. He is receiving ongoing support at his orphanage and progress is slow, but steady. (DOB----10/2/95----5/12/97)

(Andressa & Luiz) She is described as a very intelligent girl who easily makes friends. She is affectionate and sweet but can easily become jealous. She enjoys ballet and dance. He is a boy with lots of motivation: he likes to work and to earn money. He is a good boy and a good student, not aggressive, he enjoys singing and judo. (DOB----6/28/94----4/21/90)

(Caio) He is timid - "simpatico" and he very much wants to be accepted. He likes to play soccer, ride bikes, fly kites, play computer games, watch cartoons on TV and read history books. (DOB----2/14/92)

(Clayton, Angela & Franciele) Clayton enjoys playing percussion and works hard at school. Angela Gets along beautifully with all and is very reserved, selecting her friends carefully. Franciele is described as happy and calm. All three enjoy sports and want to be adopted. (DOB----2/28/90----8/4/91----9/15/96)

(Wesley) He is open and friendly, loves to converse and loves to sing. Wesley has a light degree of cerebral palsy. This affects his gait, although he walks with no extra support,and his speech, which lacks good enumciation. But he does get his point across! Wesley attends a special class in public school. (Jonathan) Jonathan will greet you with a big smile and hug and enjoys talking, especially if you take an interest in soccer. Lots of soccer medals hang on the home's wall and Jonathan is rightfully proud of them and of his progress in school. (DOB----3/12/93)

(Jonathan) He is described as very loving, active and energetic. He accepts limits and rules well. He becomes jealous easily and would do best in a home without other children of his same age. He is a good student with good grades. (DOB----12/16/92)

(Adelar & Maria Carolina) Adelar will be successful wherever life leads him. He was born to live happy and to be on a good path. He is very loved by all. He is very intelligent boy makes good grades in school. Maria Carolina does average work in school. she is reserved, loving, tranquil, quiet, cooperative, sweet girl, but lacks initiative. (Alexandro, Jonas, Carlos and Janaina) Alexandro is a very intelligent boy and learns quickly, very obedient. He is always smiling and happy. Jonas has had frequent bronchitis. His development is normal for a child his age, attends speech therapy. Carlos while intelligent and creative, is also extremely needy and at times aggressive. He takes a low dose of Ritalin daily. He accepts discipline." If one has time to give attention to him, there does not exist a better boy". Janaina is also very bright and loving, tranquil and likes to help. (Pedro, Joana, Maria and John) Two brothers and two sisters. Pedro is a timid boy and insecure: he is also obedient, serene, of good character and very flexible. He enjoys his studies and is neat and organized with his schoolwork. Maria attracts many friends and is well liked, she is very docile and helpful in the house. The orphanage cannot list one negative aspect of her personality. John is a lively, happy boy who finds it difficult to give full attention in school, but nevertheless does well there. He is a friend to all and very loving in all his relationships. Joana is described as a girl who has "excellent relationships with friends and adults and who can easily become very close to people". (Anderson) Anderson is described as well mannered, calm, tranquil and timid. He gets along well with adults and with children. He is conscientious in school and gets good grades. His aptitude is in the arts and his interest lies in cooking. (DOB----12/18/88)

(Andreza & Elton) Andreza is described as a child of "excellent behavior". She is also timid but very accessible. She is secure within herself and able to understand and accept like as it comes…a rare feature for a young girl. Elton is a quiet boy, obedient. He respects and is affectionate with the house parents. Both Andreza and Elton want to be adopted together. (DOB----11/7/90----10/18/92)

(Ricardo) He is described as being a good kid and a good helper. On the cusp of adolescence, he is an intelligent boy who never had the opportunity to study in school before coming into care. He has a lovely smile and is very happy. (DOB----6/26/93)

(Diemes, Silvana & Leo) Diemes is described as very intellignet, responsible,obedient and loving. He accepts limits and is not aggressive. He has many friends. Silvana is a loving girl, timid with strangers, sociable and does not learn easily but instead has much difficlty. She will most likely need special education. Leo is very active, but at times a little lazy. He is bright and intelligent. He accepts limits and obeys the people he likes. (DOB----1/1/94----1/16/89----11/8/95)

(Edna, Vanessa and Claudia) Edna is a very bright active extroverted girl. She is a leader, obedient and wants to become a model. Vanessa is an Active girl also an extrovent. She accepts limits easily and likes to have good relationships with adults. She also has severe hearing loss in both ears and wears hearing aids. Claudiais neat inteligent and helpful, She likes to knit, and is a very capable child. All three girls are very close. (DOB----3/12/89----10/25/94----2/10/92)

(Tiago) Some days he is very active and goes nonstop. Other days he is calm and sleepy. He has epilepsy, which is difficult to control. His behavior is a consequence of his medication. He is a very neat and tidy child, takes care of himself well. He uses his illness to attract attention from adults. He is described as intelligent but having little success in school because of health problem and prescribed treatment. (DOB----2/5/94)

(Jessica and Claudinei) Jessica is a very affable and loving, She works hard at all she does. She is described as ambitious and intelligent. She has no health problems. Claudinei is in a 2nd - 3rd grade accelerated classroom. He is an affable, loving boy. He also has no health problems. (DOB----1/29/91----5/22/95)

(Matthew) He is an adorable, sweet baby. Matthew loves to clap to music, eats from a spoon, and drinks from a cup. He has cerebral palsy, which affects mainly his lower limbs. He is alert and responsive, babbling, and saying a few words. He is gaining control of his trunk rolling over, bringing everything to his mouth, creeping after toys, and attempting to pull himself up to his feet. (DOB----6/17/04) ON HOLD

(Iradir & Marinalva) Iradir is a calm girl who loves to participate in all activities. She is warm and open and gets along with all people. Marinalva is a little bit less willing to accept the rules than her younger sister, but she does accept them. She is also communicative and friendly and gets along well with others. Both girls are in school but are not serious about their studies and would benefit so much from a family's encouragement and emphasis in this area of life. (DOB----12/1/95----12/1/90)

(Jeferson) Jeferson is a normal, healthy boy. He does well in all areas. He makes friends easily, participates in all activities, accepts rules (but may grumble a bit) he is helpful, happy and affectionate. He is a boy who has a few good friends, shows signs of being a leader, and is well accepted by all. (DOB----6/19/93)

(Adriana) She is plucky, spirited, happy, having a heart for everyone… She is right on the ball, knows what's going on, and where she needs to be for any activity, outing, or meal. Adriana has FAS and will need special classes as she finds it hard to concentrate, she is easily distracted, and learns slowly, All agree that if given reinforcement, she has good potential to move forward in life. She enjoys riding a bike and climbing on playground equipment. (DOB----1/27/97)

(Paloma & Lucas) Paloma with her gregarious and talkative manner, is the unofficial hostess at her orphanage. Her upbeat and inquisitive ways make her a focus in a group of children, impulsiveness and desire for attention make her immature for her age. She has difficulties in school, is in a special class and needs encouragement. Lucas is more reserved, tranquil and quieter. He enjoys being with friends and does very well in school (DOB----3/9/95----9/21/96)

(Ane-Aline, Franciele, Gracie and Elias) Three sisters and a brother. Ane-Aline is intelligent and responsible, friendly, introverted, interacty well with others in a group. She is a good student. Franciele is happy and loving also, expansive, communicative, intelligent, sensitive, and very well liked by others. She is very logical in her thinking. Gracie is very outgoing child, spontaneous, loving and she creates affectionate bonds easily, sweet and very intelligent. Elias is obedient, well behaved, studious, a friend to all, he likes to help others. He is tranquil and sociable, quiet at first contact but is actually very sociable with those he knows. (Andrei, Ademir, Sebastian, Valmir, Elton, Valderia and Elisandra) Each of the children is developing normally in all aspects and has no health issues. Andrei happy, likes to be an individual, gets upset when reprimanded, socializes well at school. Sebastian happy boy who relates well to others, timid, not aggressive in any respect, obedient, and very understanding of situations. Valderia is a loving girl with all, accepts rules easily, has difficulty with math, unorganized, and gets along well with others. Elton bright, has a good character, becomes nervous when provoked, happy and a little timid, an excellent student, creative. Elisandra bright, happy, finds it hard to accept rules and ideas different than her own, loving, loves to dance and sing, concerned about her siblings, well behaved, understanding and friendly. Valmir excellent socializer, loves to converse with others, a leader, will fight when provoked, easy to get along with, creative, participates. (Tamara, Brendan, Samantha, Dandara and Felipe) Three sister and two brothers. Tamara is very quite, closed, does not make friends easily and has little self-confidence; She is also obedient, organized, careful, and helpful. Brendan is a very calm child, often passive, he is affictionate, sweet, and tends to play often by himself. He also loves to read and asks for books from school. Dandara and Samantha are twins sisters Dandara is intelligent, expressive, and receptive, with low self-esteem and low resistance to frustration. Samantha has ease with other people and enjoys helping them, she is a dreamer, and is insecure, Felipe the youngest enjoys group play and making new friends. (Mauricio, Rob and Lucas) They are healthy boys, and are developing normally. Mauricio is insecure. He accepts rules well, is organized with his belongings, does not like school but learns easily, and is quick to defend himself. Rob is very timid. He often prefers being alone to playing in a group. He has difficulty in concentration and does not do well in school. Lucas relates well to his playmates at the orphanage but is known to fight with classmates at school. (Bruno and Douglas) They are reserved yet friendly with strangers and one can observe that they are calm children who are accustomed to getting along with others. Bruno enjoys basketball and Douglas enjoys soccer. They also enjoy animals. Douglas suffers from a loss of vision: he is blind in one eye and has 10% vision remaining in the other due to a detached retina he has had four surgeries and the vision is not stable. (Anderson) He is full of vitality (hyperactive) and very intelligent. He takes medication for hypothyroidism, which is well-controlled. He is sweet and loving. He loves to pick flowers for the orphanage social mother. (DOB----5/20/97)

(Douglas, Alessandro and Julio Cesar) These are great boys! Their behavior and obedience is exemplary. The two youngest can be stubborn at times but do not persist. Alessandro does well in school and enjoys drawing. (DOB----6/29/98----3/30/91----12/18/95)

(Alex, Bruna and Paulo) Alex and Bruna are described as afffectionate and cooperative. Paulo is said to have a good academic potential and is sociable and communicative. (DOB----4/18/96----10/15/94----5/22/92)

(Leandro & Leonardo) Cute brothers, so close in age. These are two very healthy boys with lanky, thin bodies. Both are very happy children who enjoy play. These are sweet and loving boys. (DOB----12/1/93----12/1/92)

(Josiana) She has some delays in speech and cognition. Her motor abilities are good - running, climbing, descending. Her oral muscles are weak and speech therapy is greatly indicated. Josiana has great promise. (DOB----8/28/01) ON HOLD

(Jose Regiane and Ariele) Jose wears a prosthesis to which he has adapted well. He runs and jumps, climbs and plays soccer: he lost his right leg in a train accident and received psychological counseling to cope with that loss. The sisters are normal, healthy children and get along well with other children and adults. The girls are timid children but establish friendships easily and have no behavioral problems.The girsl are good workers in school. (DOB----10/2/92----1/17/95----2/7/96)

(Raquel) She has downs syndrome and a congenital cardiopathy (heart defect) She is HIV. She is Latin/Caucasian with dark brown straight hair. (DOB----11/1/04) ON HOLD

(Val) He has had a hard start in life. His prognosis is good, according to a recent evaluation. He is receiving neurological accompaniment, and physical and speech therapy are recommended. According to the neurologist, malnutrition provoked a delay in development of about 1.5 years. (DOB----7/30/01) ON HOLD

(Thiago) This is a special boy in many ways. He is an engaging and captivating child who knows how to get along with others. He teases the adults, sings at any opportunity, is cordial to all, and wears a smile all day. (DOB----5/26/93)

(Elizabeth) She is a calm and obedient girl who likes to read and to dance. (DOB----3/9/92)

(Jennifer) She is a sweet little girl with a lovely spirit. She is HIV+ has FAS, and is microcephalic. She takes medication for the virus and it is well controlled. The director says she is never sick. She speaks little and needs speech therapy; her motor skills are fine and she is agile. All nearological tests, EEG, and tomography are normal. (DOB----9/29/99)

(Edson) Here is a little guy who desperately wants someone to love him. He is an intelligent boy, spontaneous, wanting to talk. Sometimes he is sweet and receptive; other times, he is agitated and hyperactive. He enjoys learning activities and likes to draw and paint. He will do very well in a home with routine and ample doses of affection. (DOB----6/25/96)

(Wellington) This handsome boy is a timid and reserved, lively and intelligent. He struggles with accepting rules and limits. He provokes and irritates his friends. What would He be if taught friendliness and compassion, and shown happiness and acceptance? (DOB----12/10/94) ON HOLD

(Albert, Sami, Samara and Abraham) Here are two brothers and two sisters who are very calm children, obedient, loving and affictionate. They also get along well with their friends and adults at the orphanage. The girls are receiving psychological accompaniment to draw out their personalities and they are becoming more expressive. (Luiz) He is a healthy boy with stable emotions and good relationships with both adults and children. Luiz has presented much progress since arriving at this orphanage. He enjoys small cars, playing hide and seek, singing watching TV. His respects the rules and limits and is not oppositional. (DOB----3/24/97)

(Rafael & Rubem) Here are two good looking brothers. Both boys crave affection and attention. Rubem is an intellignet boy who adores electronic games and toys. Rafael is spontaneous, sympatico, and a happy child but has difficulties in school and is weak in focused attention. Neither of the boys is aggressive and both get along well with others. (Vivian & Dion) This Brother and sister are discribed as loving, sympatica, sharing, with easy interaction .Each has many friends and forms bonds with the social parents. They both have tranquil behavior.The children are healthy. They are fearful of being separated but they are ready to be adopted together. (DOB----8/15/95----3/16/94)

(Cleusiane, Cleonice & Josiele) Cleusiane loves to play with her friends and gets along well with all, she participates in everything and is always ready to learn new things. Cleonice also enjoys her friends. When she does something wrong she tries to correct it. She says. "I want to have a mother who will care for me and be there for me always, who will never abandon me". Josiele has a strong personality: she pays attention to details and is an analyzer and observer before beginning an activity. (Erica) She has a good sense of herself. Everyone likes her and all the other girls call her their "best friend". She is a leader. She likes to read. She also enjoys individual attention, and she definitely has a sparkle in her eyes! (DOB----2/8/93)

(Lara, Ivan & Cassia) Lara is a well-behaved girl, neat and responsible and receives good grades. Ivan is sweet, accepting, happy and charismatic. Cassia is intelligent and bright, happy, very curious about all, needy of attention and affection, and tends to be a little pudgy. (DOB----2/6/93----10/20/96----3/9/99)

(Luiz, Isabela and Amanda) These three siblings enjoy life and being together, yet say they very much want to be adopted. We were very impressed when Amanda told us she prays for a family every night and thanked us for helping her to find a special family. The girls like to be pretty and wear clean, nice clothes. (Edward, John and Claudio) Here are three beautiful brothers, Edward has Hodgkin's disease that has been in remission since april 2004. John and Claudio enjoy good health. (DOB----4/9/02----1/24/01----2/22/00)

(Juliana, Jonathan and Carolina) Two sisters and a brother wait for a family where they can be together. Juliana is a healthy child with no significant problems. Jonathan has had corrective surgery for hairlip and open palate and will need speech therapy. He is also hyperactive. Carolina like Jonathan is a bit agitated and this currently interferes with her learning. She also has some small language difficultios. (DOB----3/11/00----12/20/98----12/13/97)

(Ali) Ali has come into care in 2001, never known his father, and his grandparents have maltreated him. So it is that Ali could redeem him life by the love, affection, provisions, prayers, and encouragement of an adoptive family. (DOB----8/16/93)

(Ellen, Leo, Cristina and Alcides) They are absolutely lovely, happy children - positive, protective of each other, definitely loving and caring for one another, respectful of adults, obedient! Very easy going. Everyone loves them. Alcides is a sensitive boy very attached to his siblings.Cristina is very obedient: she is very motivated. Leo is a quiet child but enjoys being with other children. Ellen is very smart, organized, doesn't like dirt: She is beginning to speak and understands everything. (Marcelo & Mike) These two brothers have a strong bond between them. They enjoy good health. Marcelo is loving, well behaved and very sympatico, despite being a little more timid and quite than his brother. He presents no behaviorial problems at school or at the home. He knows how to get along with everyone. Mike is a loving boy sympatico, communicative and very captivating. Like his brother, he has no behaviorial problems in school or at the orphanage. (Ilza, Simone, Fabiana and Franciele) These 4 sisters compose a ready-made family. Simone and Ilza are engaging children, talkative and social, and loving to play. Fabiana and Franciele are more mature and have a good understanding of the meaning of adoption. (Daniel) He is in the fifth grade and does very well. He has good relationships with other children and adults. He enjoys soccer, swimming and video games, takes violin and computer lessons. He expresses himself well, is sensitive to what is happening about him, and is intelligent. A very nice boy! (DOB----1/24/94)

(Nataly, Jessica and Gabriela) These three sisters are charming to meet. They are happy, a unified group, intelligent, and have a big desire to be adopted. Nataly is the leader of the three and very mature for her age, she has good behavior and loves outings, capoeira, and the computer. Gabriela is very open, very humorous. Jessica is a bit more temper mental but has a terrific spirit and loves to play. These girls will bring a lot of fun and happiness to their new family. (DOB----10/9/92----1/15/97----1/15/96)

(Julie, Jonathan and Carolina) Three very energetic children wait for their family! Jonathan and Carolina receive neurological accompaniment. Both are in a special first grade class and find learning difficult. Neither are diagnosed as hyperactive, but they do have trouble paying attention in school. Medication helps them focus. Carolina is also active but also very affectionate. She likes singing and jumping. Jonathan accepts limits and discipline. The children do bond to people and are not aggressive. (Jadi and Wellington) Jadi is a loving, well-behaved girl who is very needy for affection. She finds it hard to interact in a large group of children. Wellington socializes easily and demonstrates confidence. He accepts rules at the orphanage and does well in school, learning easily. He also takes computer class twice per week. (John, Jennifer, Alan and Lucy) "These children have conquered my heart!" writes our representative. They are such easy children - respectful, obedient and totally normal kids! They seem so happy and full of life! All 4 of them! Alan is a very happy guy, positive and such a character, He's always telling a joke. What a lovely boy! Alan is as cute as he can be! (Janey) The heart's desire of Janey is to have a family. She is an affectionate, friendly, and open girl with an ear-to-ear smile for almost everyone. Janey has difficulty in pronunciation and much of her speech is not intelligible: but talk, she does, and often. She knows her colors, can copy simple designs, knows some letters and tries to read. (Diane) Diane is a healthy, Normal girl who has a scar on her face from a burn suffered in her infancy. She does well in school. She is descried as sweet, tranquil, affectionate, establishing strong bonds with adults, getting along well with other children, and a follower. She also suffers from poor self esteem. (Tamires & Isabela) Both girls are timid with strangers and both have difficulties in school. Tamires loves music and enjoys singing. Isabela enjoys sports. They are engaging girls who are very anxious that an adoptive family be found for them. (DOB----5/7/94----4/22/92)

(Denis, David and Max) If ever three boys needed a mom and dad, these do! Denis and Max are full brothers: David has the same mother, different dad. Denis is a very nice boy who does well in school and wants to be lawyer. He enjoys swimming. David is in need of speech therapy to help with articulation. He is also a nice boy, he has difficulty in learning. He would like to become a priest. Max also has difficulties in school and in speech: it is suspected that he had a stroke when newborn. Today one sees evidence in his equilibrium and use of his right hand. Max likes to play and watch Spiderman films. Max also wants to become a priest. (DOB----8/1/92----12/10/94----7/20/96)

(Felipe, Pamela and Sarah) Felipe is a lovely boy who does well in school and reads well: he enjoys playing soccer and attends a soccer school on Saturdays. He is helpful to the adults and relates well to all ages. His behavior is excellent. Pamela is a very open child who loves to play with Barbies. Her behavior is also good, both Felipe and Pamela express a great desire to be adopted. Sarah lives at a separate orphanage and her development is normal for her age. (Robert) This handsome boy is all ready for a family. He is in the first grade and has teacher says he is a good student who demonstrates enthusiasm and interest. He makes friendships easily and is respectful of adults. Robert is affectionate and not aggressive with others. He takes medication for hyperactivity with excellent results. "His physical, motor, verbal, cognitive, and emotional developments are all within normal parameters". (DOB----3/22/98)
