Children : The children available in Brazil are usually 4 years and up - however younger children are sometimes available. Children are Portuguese, African, Indian, German, Polish, Italian, and Japanese ancestry. Special needs children and sibling groups are also available. We have several waiting children available. Ask us about our MedKids program for children needing medical treatment in the US. Please also ask us about children already waiting for adoption.

Requirements : Married couples and singles (over 25) may apply. Few other restrictions.

Adoption Process : Families must complete a dossier to submit to the Brazilian authorities. Once the dossier has been approved, the family can travel soon after.

Travel : Parents must travel to Brazil for one trip of 4 to 5 weeks.

Timeframe : The process typically takes 9-12 months from start to finish.
